Nato nel caldo torrido di un’estate milanese con l’idea di prendersi una pausa da tutto e mettere tra parentesi le regole del gioco quotidiano, Arimo è un set dal sapore allo stesso tempo futuristico e retrò, con l’idea di lasciare spazio nell’esecuzione dal vivo alla libertà improvvisativa e allo spontaneo emergere di influenze implicite sedimentate in decenni di attività tecnica e artistica nel campo dell’elettronica musicale tout-court.
Arimo è prima di tutto un’attitudine a voler sospendere le regole e le definizioni di genere: ambient? IDM? neoclassica? contemporanea? ….Arimo!

Born in the scorching heat of a Milanese summer with the idea of taking a break from everything and putting the rules of the daily game in parentheses, Arimo is a set with a flavor that is simultaneously futuristic and retro. It leaves room during live performance for improvisational freedom and the spontaneous emergence of implicit influences settled over decades of technical and artistic activity in the field of electronic music tout-court.
